Bath toys
Marshall MOPS Meeting Place
I have been working on organizing the house this week. Yes, free time can make you do crazy things! Anyway, I am having trouble with the bath toys, my current method is not working.
How do you store your bath toys? Do you use one of the bags that attaches to the wall? Have you found one that works well?

You know those fancy bath racks that rest accross the tub? Like for ladies and their books or loofas or whatever? I found a chrome one with rubber pads on the ends. We used it with joyful perfection to store bath toys until we renovated and the new tub didn't have a spot where the rack would stretch across...the tub was a one piece curvy thing....and a total toy-storage bummer. In this house, the girls use our tub, and for a year, now, I hear Philip kick the ponies, coloring mats, and baby dolls to the rear of the shower as he starts the water. (Don't tell him there's another way!)
We use one of those nets that hangs on the wall. It has worked great, but I need to get a new one cause you can't really clean them and our's is getting nasty! Also, you can only fit so much in it, so you can't have "too" many bath toys in the tub at once.
We have a net too, but it never sticks on the wall. What is your secret???
Cari- do you need a big ledge for one of those to sit on.
Finding storage for bath toys could radically change my life!
Our's has 4 suction cups on it, and we've never had a problem with it sticking to the wall. But, I have had trouble getting other suction cupped items to stick, so I guess they're all different...
Just two level spots a few inches wide directly across from oneanother.....our new tub was all curvy-contoured, and there were flat spots but not straight across the tub.
We have the triagular suction cup bath net and love it. It only crashes down every 2-3 months or so.
I use a chrome bath caddy that fits across the tub. It was cheap and works great, except it can not hold the giant pirate ship that has migrated from the playroom. The other toys fit in it and can be rinsed regularly.
Molly had a super cute frog that hugged the wall in her bath for Ben. I will e-mail her and find out where she got it.
Molly has boon frog pod to store bath toys. She said it is $25 and can be found at Target among other places on the internet.
Hope this helps, I think I will go and get one myself, along with the swiffer thingamabopper!
Trish
I have the target frog one, maybe mine is a dud!
Looks like I need to go shopping.
Thanks
